Attached to Provisional Brigade, Casey's Division, Defenses of Washington, October to December, 1862. 1st Brigade, 3rd Division, 2nd Army Corps, Army of the Potomac, to June, 1863. Duty in the Defenses of Washington, D.C., October 3 to December 1, 1862. March to Falmouth, Va., December 1-9. Battle of Fredericksburg, Va., December 12-15. At Falmouth, Va., until April 27, 1863. Chancellorsville Campaign April 27-May 6. Battle of Chancellorsville May 1-5. Mustered out July 6, 1863.
Regiment lost during service 51 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 1 Officer and 31 Enlisted men by disease. Total 84.
